The First Partner Illustration Collection Vol. 2 The Pokémon Trading Card Game celebrates the 30th anniversary of the saga by returning instantly to the moment from which every journey truly begins: the meeting with your first companion.

This second series spans three generations and just as many regions, bringing together nine Pokémon that have accompanied millions of Trainers in their first steps.

From Johto Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile arrive.

Chikorita moves forward with the calmness of a breeze crossing the meadows, ready to transform every little sprout into a new hope. Cyndaquil hides behind a reserved character a flame capable of blazing up when courage is put to the test. Totodile, on the other hand, faces the world with uncontrollable enthusiasm, opening its jaws wide before every new adventure.

From Unima Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott emerge.

Snivy watches its Trainer with elegance and confidence, as if it already knows the path to victory. Tepig carries with it the warmth of a generous and determined spirit, while Oshawott grips its scalchop ready to show that behind its adorable appearance lives the heart of a true warrior.

Finally, from Galar Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble respond to the call.

Grookey turns every surface into a rhythm full of energy. Scorbunny runs towards the future, leaving behind a glowing trail. Sobble stays hidden among the drops of water, but is just waiting for the right moment to find the courage and show its potential.

Each package contains A holographic promotional card Special Illustration randomly selected from the nine available designs.

The illustration does not show only the Pokémon.

The cards dedicated to the three starters from the same region were designed to be placed side by side. Once assembled, the individual scenes connect and form a larger panoramic composition, transforming three separate cards into a single visual story.

Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile thus return to share the same landscape of Johto.

Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott together retrace the beginning of the journey through Unova.

Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble find themselves in the setting that precedes their departure to explore Galar.

Each card can be appreciated individually, but it is only by bringing together the three companions from the same region that the illustration reveals its entire story.

Included with the card is a magnetic support in acrylic, designed to protect it and immediately transform it into a display piece.

The transparent structure puts the illustration at the center of the scene, while the magnetic system allows multiple supports from the collection to be placed side by side. In this way, by collecting the other starters from the same region, it is possible to reconstruct and display the entire panoramic composition.

The package is still sealed.

It is not possible to know which companion is waiting inside.

The seal is opened slowly.

For a few seconds, only the back of the card remains visible.

Then comes the moment of revelation.

That moment recalls the choice made at the beginning of every Pokémon adventure: the battles that will be faced, the cities that will be visited, or the Leagues waiting at the end of the journey are not yet known.

The collection also includes a Stellar Crystal pack of 5 cards, always in Simplified Chinese.

Behind its packaging, new Pokémon, Trainer cards, holographic finishes, and surprises to expand your collection may be hidden. The opening continues beyond the commemorative card, adding a second moment of discovery inside the box.
