Shinobu Kocho is one of the characters from Demon Slayer as well as a pillar, specifically the Insect Pillar. Although she always appears smiling, she has very distant manners, making her seem cold to everyone. While declaring she wants to live in a world where humans and demons can coexist peacefully, she never hesitates to kill demons, showing calmness when doing so. Strangely, she showed compassion towards Nezuko, whom she initially offered to kill without causing pain but after hearing the story of the girl and her brother, chose to spare her.
