DEMON SLAYER - Katana Kanao Tsuyuri

ALL OUR SWORDS ARE ORNAMENTAL ITEMS, SHIPPED UNSHARPENED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT REGULATIONS ON THEIR FREE SALE AND POSSESSION AMONG ADULTS.

Kanao is a demon slayer who joins the corps at the same time as Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Genya. She is the protégé of Shinobu Kochō, the current Insect Hashira, being trained as Tsuguko, or successor of the Hashiras. She is a highly skilled fighter but struggles to act unless directly told what to do.

She grew up in a poor and violent family and was sold as a slave, which caused her to stop feeling emotions. Even after being rescued and taken in by Shinobu and Kanae, she continues to do nothing unless ordered, so Kanae gave her a coin to flip whenever she has difficulty making a decision. She heavily relies on flipping her coin to decide until Tanjiro becomes her friend, which convinces her to use the coin less often and she begins to develop feelings for him.

She has extremely developed eyesight and masters the Flower Breathing technique. Her sword is pink. She pushes herself by overusing this ability during her fight with Doma, to the point of becoming blind in one eye.
