Ichigo Kurosaki is a human with Shinigami and Quincy powers. He is also a Substitute Shinigami. He is the son of Isshin and Masaki Kurosaki and the older brother of Karin and Yuzu. He is the main protagonist of the Bleach series. The name of his Zanpakuto is Zangetsu and, due to Ichigo's spiritual power, it is a Constant Release Zanpakutō. Given the vast spiritual energy possessed by the boy, the sword is always in release, never returning to the katana form. Zangetsu is as tall as Ichigo, without a guard and with a band covering the handle.
