CHARACTER INFORMATION

Shingeki no Kyojin is a story set in a world where the surviving humanity lives within cities surrounded by enormous defensive walls due to the sudden appearance of giants, huge humanoid creatures that devour humans for no apparent reason. The story revolves around the young Eren Jaeger and his adoptive sister Mikasa Ackermann, whose lives are shattered by the attack of a colossal giant that led to the destruction of their city and the death of their mother. Humans have established three military protection orders: the Garrison Regiment, the Military Police Brigade, and the Scout Regiment. The latter is the order that takes the greatest risks and suffers the most losses; after years of defeats, they have perfected the Three-Dimensional Maneuver Gear, a device that allows them to soar through the air offering great mobility in facing the giants. The three-dimensional maneuver gear is the only way humans can effectively fight the Titans. It is gas-powered and composed of several parts, the main ones being four: two rectangular containers on the sides of the legs that hold 4 blades each to replace broken ones (the alloy of these "giant-slicing" swords is still unknown); on the back just above the waist is the device from which gas is released to increase speed while in flight; on the hips are two circular devices to launch grappling hooks, an essential part of the maneuver gear; the last part is the sword handles (ken). The blades are inserted into this special handle which has 2 levers, one for firing the grappling hooks and one for rewinding the wire.
