THE RISING OF THE SHIELD HERO - Raphtalia - Snow Play Ver. (Good Smile Company)

After finding a book, Naofumi Iwatani, an antisocial otaku and fanatic of manga and video games, is suddenly summoned to an alternate universe along with three other people to become the new heroes of their world, tasked with saving it from destruction caused by the cyclical appearance of monsters and demons in the so-called Waves. Each of them is granted a legendary weapon: Naofumi is given the shield, the weakest weapon. For this reason, and due to his lack of experience in social relationships, after three days Naofumi is betrayed by the other heroes, robbed, and falsely accused of having assaulted his traveling companion. Left without money and trust, the Shield Hero has no choice but to begin his adventure alone, full of hatred and determined to seek revenge.

Raphtalia is a semi-human tanuki raised in a small village outside Melromarc. She becomes an orphan during the first Wave and is sold by the Kingdom's knights to a slave merchant in the capital. Later, she is purchased by Naofumi himself to help him level up. Under the Shield Hero's guidance, she becomes a skilled and capable swordswoman.
