This time, however, Asuna sets aside armor and rapier to show herself in a completely new outfit.
FuRyu brings the protagonist of Sword Art Online to the BiCute Ribbons line, a collection that reinterprets famous female characters through costumes in which large bows and ribbons become true elements of clothing. In this version, Asuna is wrapped in a brilliant ensemble of red ribbons, shaped to create a light and highly recognizable outfit.
The large bow crossing the upper part immediately becomes the focal point of the composition, while other ribbons develop around the waist and along the legs. The ends are sculpted with wide and irregular folds, creating the feeling that the fabric is light and in motion.
The almost entirely bright red coloring creates a strong contrast with the skin and especially with Asuna’s long hair, which falls down her back to the lower part of the figure. Two small red bows complete the hairstyle and visually connect the hair to the outfit’s theme.
The pose instead preserves a more delicate side of the character. Asuna holds one hand near her hair, while the slightly embarrassed expression gives the figure an atmosphere very different from the confidence she normally shows during battles.
