Super Sonico, sometimes Sonico, is the official mascot of Nitroplus. She was created on October 14, 2006 by Tsuji Santa for Nitroplus on the occasion of a music festival sponsored by the company itself. Sonico has become the protagonist of a successful franchise including music products, video games, merchandise, and comic series.

She appears as an attractive 18-year-old girl with long straight pink hair and red eyes. She is 1.58 meters tall and has a very ample bust. Despite her childlike and innocent appearance, Sonico is very sensual and often wears skimpy outfits that always include white headphones. Professionally, she is the singer of the rock band Daiichi Uchū Sokudo and her favorite artists are Nirvana and Avril Lavigne.
