After three years of training, a twenty-five-year-old boy named Saitama achieved his goal: to be a hero so strong that he can defeat anyone with a single punch. However, becoming so powerful made the role of a hero so easy for Saitama that it left him perpetually bored and led him to depression. Following the meeting with the cyborg Genos (who will become his disciple), Saitama will join the Hero Association, an organization that brings together Earth's heroes with the purpose of fighting criminals, monsters, and various disasters. Saitama's new goal becomes climbing the association's rankings and becoming one of the most popular heroes.
