Jewelry Bonney is a member of the Worst Generation and the captain of the Bonney Pirates.

Bonney is an extremely gluttonous girl with poor table manners. For example, she asks for more food even if she hasn't finished her meal yet, talks with her mouth full, and eats with her legs on the table. She is also very irritable and capricious, often complaining about the smallest trivialities.

Despite such behaviors typical of her age, she has shown to have some common sense, such as when at Sabaody she prevented Zoro from attacking a World Noble to avoid summoning a Marine admiral. However, this attitude fades when she has to deal with personal matters, as she was willing to kill Vegapunk even knowing that it would earn her many enemies.

Bonney tries to behave like the stereotypical version of what a pirate should be. She is therefore surprised when she sees that Zoro wants to save a civilian's life, as she doesn't understand why a pirate would do that. However, she doesn't fully succeed, going as far as to tell her men to loot only from the bad guys and not to help anyone unless they really need it.

She is terrified of insects, to the point of fainting if a swarm were to land on her. She is also quite proud, as shown when she denied having cried after Luffy pointed it out.
