FIRE EMBLEM - Byleth - Dancer (Intelligent Systems)

Byleth Eisner, son or daughter (at the user's discretion) and right hand of the famous mercenary captain Jeralt Eisner, former commander of the Knights of Seiros. In the prologue of the game, Jeralt and Byleth rescue three students of the Garreg Mach Officers Academy from bandits, who turn out to be the future leaders of the three Fódlan nations: the imperial princess Edelgard von Hresvelg, the still underage Faerghusian king Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd, and the Leicesterian duke Claude von Riegan, heir of the family that traditionally presides over the Round Table. The mercenary company brings the youths back to Garreg Mach, where Archbishop Rhea requests and obtains that Jeralt rejoin the Knights of Seiros and Byleth become a teacher at the Officers Academy; the player must then choose whether to teach the Adrestian class, the Black Eagles, the Faerghusian class, the Blue Lions, or the Leicesterian class, the Golden Deer. During these events, Byleth discovers that they live in symbiosis with the spirit of a mage named Sothis, with whom they consult in dreams or internal soliloquies.

After choosing the class, the story unfolds between a first act called the Academy Phase, similar for all three classes, and a second act called the War Phase, which varies depending on the chosen faction.
