Gotenks is the result of the fusion between Goten and Trunks through the Fusion Dance, in Dragon Ball Z, Super, and other media of the franchise. He is an extremely powerful character and at the same time incredibly exuberant, reflecting the impulsive and childish nature of the two children from whom he originates.

Physically, Gotenks has a unique appearance: black and purple hair (a fusion of Goten's and Trunks' colors), a small but muscular build, and he wears the typical outfit of the Fusion Dance warriors — a short jacket, baggy pants, and a blue belt. His style is flashy and theatrical, just like his attitude.

Gotenks is incredibly arrogant and full of himself, loves giving ridiculous and dramatic names to his techniques (like the famous Super Fantasmagorical Ghost Attack) and often rushes into battle underestimating the enemy. But behind this immaturity, he possesses extraordinary power, capable of reaching Super Saiyan and even Super Saiyan 3, a transformation that few other Saiyans have managed to achieve.

Despite his strength, Gotenks is often hindered by the limited time of the fusion and his lack of discipline, making him both a spectacular fighter and a constant source of problems for his allies.
