Shinobu Kocho is a refined, enigmatic demon hunter with incredible agility, belonging to the Pillars of the Demon Slayer Corps. With a perpetual gentle smile and a calm tone of voice, she hides behind her apparent sweetness a ruthless nature and a deep hatred towards demons, born from the trauma of losing her older sister, Kanae Kocho.

She is an expert in the use of wisteria poison, which she injects into her opponents through a thin and pointed sword, more like a needle than a traditional blade. Her fighting style is based on fluid and elegant movements, almost like a deadly dance.

Her attitude is often ambiguous: behind her courtesy lies a calculated cruelty, especially when it comes to eliminating demons. However, beneath this mask of coldness, she feels sincere affection for her apprentice, Kanao Tsuyuri, and for her teammates, revealing a more human and vulnerable side.
